The Life Sciences department teaches marine biology, fisheries science and aquaculture as one connected subject, built around a shoreline transect survey walked monthly since 2004 — the longest-running dataset the university holds. It also houses the graduate program in marine mammal science, reached through the undergraduate degree in Marine Biology.
