Northmoor is a small, specialized research university built around marine and coastal science — twelve degree programs, four departments, and research facilities that undergraduates use starting in their first year. A shoreline survey walked every month since 2004, an indoor test basin, and a research vessel put students in the field early, not just in a classroom.
